Levendi’s Signature Cabernet Sauvignon-Infused Grilled Ribeye Steak

Levendi’s Signature Cabernet Sauvignon-Infused Grilled Ribeye Steak

Ingredients:

  • 2 Ribeye Steaks (approximately 1 1/2 inches thick)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Levendi Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the steaks: In a small bowl, mix the garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 cup of Cabernet Sauvignon. Place the steaks in a dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each side is well coated. Cover the dish and let the steaks marinate for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
  2. Preparation: Remove the steaks from the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the grill: Preheat your grill on high heat. If you’re using a charcoal grill, wait until the charcoal has turned white-hot.
  4. Grilling the steak: Remove the steaks from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Grill the steaks for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side for a medium-rare finish, or to your desired level of doneness.
  5. Make the Cabernet sauce: While the steaks are grilling, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of Cabernet Sauvignon and the butter. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and reduce the sauce by half.
  6. Rest and serve: Once the steaks are done, let them rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute throughout the steak. Drizzle the Cabernet sauce over the steaks before serving.

This dish pairs incredibly well with a glass of our full-bodied Levendi Cabernet Sauvignon. The bold flavors of the wine match perfectly with the rich, savory notes of the grilled ribeye. Enjoy!
